Rainsong`s Conservation Education Program in local schools!
June 2009 - The staff and volunteers at Rainsong have been very busy organizing conservation activities with the kids since we launched the project over 5 years ago.
The change starts with the young.
Rainsong organizes excursions for groups of children to wilderness areas, artcamps, nature hikes, interaction with the animals in the rescue center, talks from biologists and other scientists from all around the globe, contests and games with conservation themes, various arts & crafts, prizes and lots of fun with the volunteers from Rainsong........
The prizes are usually brought and donated by the Rainsong volunteers.
Wildlife stickers, animal coloring books, kaleidescopes, jumpropes, soccer balls and other sports balls, toys, watercolor paints and supplies....
even just pencils are appreciated by the teachers and kids !!!
